Well, am a webmaster for a city site showing off the complete info on cities.. Now if I wanna rake in some $$ through affiliations.. where should the search start from and where should it end ?

In short.. where do I find GOOD affiliate programs... can be for some hotel consolidator.. or travel packages or air fares.. any other Shark in the river who can breed this smally fishy.. ;)

For what you are doing, visit large booking sites and look for links on the home page to affiliate program.

>booking sites

They're not all equal when it comes to inventory, and there can be quite a difference based on the individual city or town. Some have excellent inventory for City ABC and yet poorly represent the available rooms in City XYZ.

I suggest you check out Travelnow, OneTravel, and HotelGuide. The commission plans vary, and some may require exclusivity, but the best plan in the business won't do you any good if they don't have the rooms.

Tks.. James n rcj

rcj is qt right in saying this... coz I have been facing this probs in the recent past... thats the reason for me coming in here and asking about any genuine affiliate directory/site which would give me an honest review of major sites...

Something like where a directory charges these guys a sum of money/reviews thier program/then lists it appropriately!

I'm not aware of any pay-for-review sites, mb. (If anyone does know of such a service, please send private stickymail to masterblaster1.)
