After having a look at zdnet's most popular download page, it's fair to say that ad & pop-up blocking utilities are going mainstream. Popupstoppers is listed as 'new' yet it is showing 1,196,045 downloads.
Heh! I did read the thread, but readily admit I didn't click through to the article. This is making the buzz-circuit in the affiliate ranks right now, with some of the ad servers making the usual, predictable pronouncements.
RC's crystal ball says that pop-ups are going to lose substantial presence on the web in the coming year.
