Be sure to choose your payment options as cash instead of gift certificate...signed up a new account a couple months ago and just got notified of the nice Amazon gift credit I now have....cash would have been nice :)

They sure don't make the selection real obvious do they! I wonder how much money they save giving out merchandise instead of cash.

My guess would be quite a lot. There's somthing else I noticed that I thought fairly clever: Have you noticed the 'to low to display' price tags? Basically you've got to put the item in your cart to view the price.... Neat (i think..)

My question is do you get affiliate linkage for using the certificate too ? like yer already making money from yer next purchase?

Yeah, you could probably do it since you just enter a code in at checkout that acts as your certificate :)
