Affiliates paying a recurrent income?

Find worthwhile affiliate programs

Hello there,

Tried lots of affiliate programs with fractional success.

However, last October, I did find one which was very worthwhile for my site. The product they were selling incurred a monthly fee of $5 of which we get half (because of the number of referrals we have sent them - in the early days, we got just 10%).

Today, it earns us around $160 a month - not vast, but pretty respectable and steadily growing month on month.

The thing I really like about it is that it's recurrent income. It's not like other affiliate schemes where we're reliant upon the occasional, one-off sale of a book or whatever, and then that's it - we collect our $2.63 or whatever.

Does anyone know of affiliate schemes that are like this from which we can get recurrent income? Or a site that lists them?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Yes there are a lot of affiliate schemes that pay on renewals, reorders, monthly subscriptions etc. Here at Webmasterworld we try not to get into any specific program as it will open up the floodgates for affiliate spam (hey I know this great program blah blah blah.)

Some ways for you to find out which programs do this would be to go through some sites (cj, two-tier etc.) that are about different affiliate programs and find some that fit your website. Also keep an eye on the yahoo what's new page for specific niches in affiliate marketing.

There are a couple of affiliate boards that do go into detail about programs and yes they are sometimes spammy, but you can find some good information there.

You might also want to check you sticky mail as often times our members will communicate privately about various programs, two-tier payouts etc. If you don't know about sticky mail then look at the top of the page riht next to the "welcome your member name" area.

Look into super auto responder programs.

They offer a product with a montly fee where often the affiliate also shares in the "bounty".

Adweber comes to mind. I remember signing up several people in the late 90's with an older site and loving the fact that each month I made a few bucks as long as they were subscribed to the system.

Good luck,
