btw, I would hardly call that selling out. An affiliate recommendation to great software is way better than any banner ad any day. More people should catch on.

If Brett were going to run a pure advertisement, which one would it be? ya...that one. Used the product since the early days of v3 and I still think it is the best browser available regardless of platform. It's mostly an indirect heads up to other webmasters that Opera has an affiliate program now.

Im all one for targeted advertisement, and products are a great way to go for that thing. All advertisements on my sites are targetted, not per click type deal with doubleclick or what not just keep to the target.

heheh and i did download opera should I pay for it, have i ever done that ;)

I still think it is the best browser available regardless of platform.

I will echo this. Even if Opera 5 for Mac is only a very limited version of the windows one, it is still the best browser available for the Mac platform.

Opera is just the best browser I ever used on Mac or X86 boxes. It just miss the GooTooBar.

I wish there was an entire section just for advertising SEO/wm products and services.... and an area to talk about them.

I would love to come in and say 'I want to build a fully branded widget site'... and have people tell me where to go.
