Hello, was wondering if anyone has anything good or bad to say about Webplosion. I am thinking about signing up. Seemes to be kind of like Bcentral's LinkXchange, except an ad pops up behind your webpage. has a standard 60/40 split (for every 100 hits to my page i get 60 back & they keep 40 for advertisers). Also, i don't know if it will work with my Yahoo Store. Any comments ??

I don't know about Webplosion specifically, but the banner exchanges were effective mainly in removing traffic from my site, and probably irritating the people that stayed.

My guess is that a pop-under exchange would be equally fruitless to everyone but the exchange who sells their split.

Personally, I'm starting to pay more attention to which sites I routinely visit that spam me with a pop-under and I'm retaliating by finding other sites to visit. I think the general surfing public will eventually get fed up enough with this form of spamming to do likewise.

I agree mayor, though i am looking for a way of uping linking popularity to increase traffic, i don't get involved with anything that in any way resembles exchange's, in this manner.

I personally find the best way to get links is via research, and link affliate's are definetly on the down list. Certainly an area, certainly of the affiliates concerns, that is going to be a loser.

4crests, if someone is visiting your page, because the search engines rank it as relevant to their inputted search term, then why would you be interested in advertisements behind your page.

Hunt the links. Can't beat it.
