Hi everyone,

I own and operate a site and it gets over 10,000 uniques and 150,000 hits a day. It is ranked in the top 40,000 by alexa.com, the problem is, I am not quite sure how to get accepted as an ad publisher. I have applied for fastclick, interclick, tribal fusion. Fastclick denied me, and I havent heard from the other two.

I don't get why I get rejected. I have all the site specs each company lays out. My site is rich in content, over 20,000 pages, and I have a privacy policy, terms of use and everything that I could ever need.

A possible reason is that my site has only been up for a couple weeks.

Any suggestions on how to get accepted, or which programs I should apply to?

Any feedback would help me out a ton.

Thanks In Advance! :)

Tommy

Eh? Up for a couple of weeks and at a 40K rank?

If your content is targetted, advertisers will find you.

I remember exchanging some emails with a well known personality (and keynote speaker at pubcon) a year or 18 months ago, looking for some inventory. They would have taken anything I gave them. Now, they turn away most advertisers.

In the mean time, stick with solid affiliate programs. In my experience they turn out to be better than adsense and most CPM buys you'll get these days.
