Hi guys,

Does anyone have any experience or recommendations of the best advertising network to use for bringing in some traffic?

Planning on using our banners with a network to bring in some traffic.

Basically I've been looking at BurstMedia and Tribal Fusion (so far) and I'm aware that they are all american, but I'm looking to bring in some traffic from the Technology/Mobile Phone/Ringtone/Teen Categories, but don't have a large budget to start with (maybe £1000 a month).

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of a good network to advertise with, that will offer the best return for my small budget and will cater for the areas I'm looking to bring traffic from? Also, is £1000 a month likely to bring in some decent volumes of traffic?

Companies can be from the UK or USA, and any tips on any to avoid would also be useful as I'm a bit of a newbie to this type of advertising!

Any responses or ideas, much appreciated,

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jonny5uk,

Not sure if I have much to add that will help answer your question directly, but, being on the 'other side' as an ad publisher, I've asked the question many times of how can I maximize my income by geo-targeting ad publishing for the highest paying bidder for a given country. For example, the highest paying USA bidder is usually not the highest paying UK bidder. To try to achieve this goal, I'm installing an open source solution called phpAdsNew.

Again, I don't think this answers your question directly, but thought I'd just share some info that might help you from an ancillary standpoint.
