Movie Advertisment Deals

I've been seeing a lot of movies that would really appeal to the core demographic of users on my website, the problem is I have no clue on how to get ahold of these companies and let them know about my site.

I'm talking about the big boys (warner brothers, paramount, etc).

Anyone know of a good way to contact these companies... are there buyable contact lists / websites that talk about this kind of stuff... etc

I've tried going to each of their sites and they are horrible most want you to snail mail information and rairly list appropriate phone numbers.

I think you should register with them first thereafter you can be able to get the clue how to contact them through email or phone.

What do you mean by register for example i went to wb.com and was looking around and saw you could register for the forums but that's just a bunch of kids talkign about the movies.

what are you trying to do - advertise your website on their movies to bring in more customers, or advertise the movies to your existing customers?

if the former, visit the cinema / theater to watch the adverts before the film - the media company that handles the advertising will have their own "advertise here" advertisement
if you want to advertise your website / business on DVDs, your luck is probably out - distributors only want to promote other films they distribute

if you want to advertise individual movies to you existing customers / users, sign up to tradedoubler / CJ /other affiliate programs and get links for a DVD retailer / rental company.

Sorry for not being more specific I'd like to advertise actual movie release dates b/c there are alot of movies that serve my niche.

You see a lot of ads on sites... example: picture of Johnny Depp in the Wonka outfit and it says... Willy Wonka coming out on this date. Is there a big media agency that handles most movie ad deals? or do you go directly to the company?

Gorilla Nation, Tribal Fusion and Burst all deal in these sort of advertisments...via targeted campaigns and insertion orders, outwith their RON adverts.

Gorilla concentrate in this area.

I have a had a few campaigns from all of the above for different movies...took a while to get going though.
