I need for some sites, I have no other choice for them.

I have some sites that I cannot monetize via serious programs like adsense.
I've seen some serious website, like a very famous statistics counter site which is running these smileys banners.
I tried to track them but I can't see who should I signup with to be able to display these banners. I once email them directly but they didn't respond me.
Someone cares to tell me which company handle this campaign?

Any idea on how to monetize a fan site with about 5,000 impressions a day?
