I am new to affiliate programs so maybe there's somebody wise who could help me.
I have no access to the source code of my potential marketplace so all I can do is just add merchant tracking urls but not those 1x1 images that they provide in the tracking code.
like in this code:
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&camp=1789&tag=affiliate-20000&creative=9325&path=tg/browse/-/1036682">buy now</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=affiliate-20000&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none!important; margin:0px!important;" />
All I can do is link the merchant to [amazon.com...]
but can't include the image path...
If I am getting this right my traffic wont be tracked without it in CJ and Amazon?

You can also see if the affiliate cookies are being dropped when you visit through the links you listed.
General rule of thumb, if you see clicks showing up in stats for any given link, you're ok.
That said, most networks have rules and policies against modifying the link code. They won't bat an eye at it, unless you complain that their links aren't tracking. If you break something, it's your responsibility.
