Hi folks,
I have a travel related site and I am providing hotel reservation links on my pages. Currently, my site sends the visitor to a hotels.com branded page where the visitor can check reservation and availability info.

I am wondering whether it's best to send the user to a private label hotel site of my own or just keep them going to a brand conscious page like hotels.com? Which format brings in my commissions?

Any tips or comments? Thanks!

You should visit the site of hotel affiliate network, their partner site hdnpartners.com.

ian.com is hotel.com's affiliate manager, no? Never heard of Hdnpartners.

Depending on the market you aim for the branding helps. If you are pushing "silver surfer" traffic they are more likely to book and be comfortable if they see SAGA.

Younger folks are more willing to take a chance as they are comfortable with technology and price will be a higher factor in their buying process.

Personally the merchant I use allows me to cobrand the whole booking process with them. Best of both worlds.

My domain sticks in the users head but they see I work with a name they trust.

Thanks macz. That's exactly the kind of feedback I'm looking for. I emailed ian.com for any suggestions....but like usual....they do not respond in a timely matter. Often takes days.
