Another Quesion
Also the same question applies to Amazon. Im from UK and my visitors are 80% from US. Do you think its wise to apply to the US Amazon?
What do you international webmasters do and chose affiliates when your visitors are mainly from another country?
It makes sense that I should be paid in £££ and go for the Amazon.co.uk version, but the chances are my US visitors would prefer to purchase from a US based, Amazon.com, which means getting paid in $$$?
Would the amount received mean the same in the long run?
Please help me reach my decision, how do the rest of you handle this?
Thanks.
If you go with thew UK Amazon, then US visitors might leave and go to the US Amazon, and you won't get any commision.
As for the Adsense question. I don't know which (the US or UK) is better.
I am a UK publisher with 90% US traffic and so same problems. With Amazon just use both and either geo-target the info or display both.
The real problem comes when you buy say content from a UK company, then the exchange rate can be a pain.

My adsense account shows all reports in US dollars but pays into my bank account using GBP by way of electronic funds transfer. I don't think there is a separate UK version of Adsense.
