creating a Clickbank hop

Hi,

With Clickbank affiliate programs will a link work if you just put your hop at the end of the site's url?

There's this company I really like but they won't take my advice on creating a separate affiliate program for one of their sites, their hoplink just leads to a whole list of programs.

I mailed them again and they said I can try just creating a www.example.com/?hop=mynick type link but I'm not so sure about that. Will it really work without the whole clickbank.vendor.mynickname type setup?

Test the links, then see if the clicks are reported. Should be easy enough, especially when clickbank said this approach would work.
