hi friends,
yesterday one of my friend( near by city ), showed me his adsense earnings and channels, and in one channel i saw 18 impressions and 1 click and earnings for that 1 click is 9.44 $!, yes this is the first time i ever saw 10 $ click. Have any one getting it or even more than that?
This is 100 % true which i saw yesterday.

Once I had 3 clicks for $21 income. I have NO idea what keyword it was and it hasn't happened since! I occasionally see $6 to $7 clicks... but it is very rare. Could be there was just some short-term competition for a certain term and then one advertiser jumps out and down it goes again. You never know.

I've found a theme where ads pay $3 per click, and many times I've received $10 clicks.

So yes, it is possible

I had this happen once to me. I looked at the stats at just after midnight on a Sunday morning (8am here) and found 1 click $10. That's the only time I've ever seen that happen, and it was before smartpricing. I regularly see clicks for $1.60 - $2.00 though.

Last night I had one period where I got 4 clicks and it went up by $0.04! The day average was a loght better than that though - phew!

Good work Indian!

I am also getting 1.60 - 2 almost everyday.
But never got like $10 or something for a click.

I wish I get it someday too. :-)

Feeld good!

I believe on 2 occasions I have had clicks in the region of $20 - these were on a very rarely visited page and were less than a month apart. It has never happened again (this is over 18 months).

All you folks are going to have the google police knock on your email box for tos violations!

I have two of those clicks this morning. Weekends always seem to bring out great smart pricing for me.

I've seen a lot of these high paying clicks in my stats. However, I never payed too much attention to them, because I don't believe anyone could be running long-term campaings with such high CPC. I ascribe it to a mistake/experiment of the advertiser or discrepancy in AS stats (where the number of clicks is delayed, while earnings are in sync).

But maybe some of you AdWords advertisers out there could tell us if you've ever run a campaign with CPC over $10 and for how long.

I run adwords to drive traffic for affiliate sales. In the markets I aim at I never pay more than $.25. I generally switch off the content side unless I discover a particular kind of site where I know a particular keyword will definitely show and convert - generally on content sites I go no higher than $.1.

However, in some of the markets I aim at and pay .25 per click Adsense suggests $8-12 per click to secure the top spot 85% of the time. Maybe some people just accept this.

I'm sure for some people who are directly selling a product or service it is worth it to pay $xx per lead.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. Then I guess they could try recommending "$100 per click to secure the top spot 100% of the time." Who knows, maybe some naive advertisers would fall for that.

Maybe it's not a 10 Dollar Click. Two weeks ago I saw two "clicks" with 15 and 25 Dollar. I did not trust those figures and asked Google.

They told me that there was a pay per view ad showing up at that particular page. However they do not show those ppv revenues explicitly in the stats.

My theory is: As soon as there are enough views for an ad - maybe 1.000 - the next click will trigger the payout of the ppv money. Thus this specific click will bring some more dollars :-)

it has happened to my friend and his website is related to international news. so myself or himself don't know which keyword that triggered the click through rate. moreover his website is having a good page rank.

whether the page rank would be a criteria for the high CPC?

several web hosting companies pay in excess of $20 a click, but I have doubts they'll pay that much for ads on non-google traffic.

At first I didnt want to respond to this thread at all and now since you dont believe what im saying I even feel like responding less. I just wanted to show you that getting 10 dollars per click isnt that high and I am sure some other people on here can confirm that high payouts per click do excist. Im just lucky that I run a website on which this kind of ads are shown.

I've seen a couple of approximately $2 clicks on certain pages in the last couple of days, but I have been making some effort in making some of my pages a bit longer and more focused. Hopefully it's the start of better things!

I got $19 per one click once. This was in those good times when $3 was average per click. Today, I usually get around $0.5 per click.

Ahhh... those good old days...

Law firms pay high cpc when they find a drug that causes damage to users. One good case can earn them millions.
