CTR banners general forum

I have a very high traffic general-interest 'chat' type of forum. What CTR % and CPM rates should I expect for untargeted, run-of-network (google?) 700x60 top-of-the page banners on my site? Who pays the best for this kind of banner? Is Google an acceptable source for this kind of CPM advertising, or should I look elsewhere?

Is 1% CTR, $10CPM attainable?

Thanks!

The CTR will very much depend on the creative used, the website, frequency, relevancy, and of course the offer of the banner. Most advertisers will pay more $$ or ££ for targeted campaigns. Others just want exposure. $10 CPM should be acheivable on most sites

I would aim for more like $1 CPM. I seriously doubt $10 CPM is achievable.
