Hello All, from Portugal.
I'm new in this theme (affiliate). But I was searching and reading, since some time ago, everything what I can obtain in the net, about this subject. Lots of websites; lots of PDFs files with all king of info.

But one really strange thing that I see in the sites/info that I obtain, is that the most of the websites are of those kind of mini-sites with 1 webpage that we must scroll down 20 times until its end, with dozens of testimonials and a buy now with 30 pixel font; and talking about how to make 500.000/year online on the internet; and if you buy it we offer 5 pdfs/reports for free; and so on...

My simple question: are these guys the real affiliate gurus or are all them bullcheaters?

What is a real affiliate website? I don't know if I already see one! Good example(s)?

Nice to hear from the real ones...
Kind regards

Many times these people with the long sales copy are from the advertising world and have done studies that show the long copy works for this particular product.

To call these sites affiliate sites I would say that they are not. They are sales copy sites for those who don't know any better.

As far as what an affiliate site looks like, do a search on popular subjects such as online gaming, health products, hotel bookings and most likely these are affiliate sites.

Go ahead and have a look my friend. Check out the order links and when you see it goes to another URL or is framed, it probably is an affiliate site. The really good affiliate sites will be hosted on their own server and use XML or another server side script to send over the orders/forms to the parent.
