Just wondering what the general thoughts are (on both publisher and advertiser sides of the spectrum) as to the tactics Azoogle employs to help promote its clients through Affiliates?
Anyone working with them who might be able to indicate how they feel about Azoogle in relation to all the buzz around parasitic behavior in affiliate marketing?
Are these guys parasitic? Or are they a-okay?
All thoughts/comments appreciated.
Thanks.
I am getting mixed messages from people though... I know they USED to be big time spammers back in the day, I have read about it all. However, I have seen an inordinate number of folks who believe that Azoogle has really ramped things up and become a great company to do business with.
So, Azoogle is great in what way? They're credible, ok.... but what about the "enter email here to get a FREE BBQ" ads they do? And what about the downloads and the popups they have their publishers promote for their customers?
How do the affiliates who think they are great justify this type of promotion? Are these the SAME affiliates who scream PARASITIC SCUMBAG ADWHORES at popups, coupon/deal and rebate sites as they pass, or are these a diff breed of affiliates who see nothing wrong with using popups/downloads to promote various products and services on the web?
Please keep in mind I'm maintaining a neutral stance and eliminating all bias in order to get YOUR input and PROPERLY take it all into consideration to form my own conclusion. For the sole purpose of this thread, I'm not taking one side or the other but more looking to spark healthy debate to help folks like me form an educated conclusion of their own.
Please share your thoughts on the above and further responses on my original inquiry much welcome/appreciated.
Thanks again!
Cheers.
