I'm looking for any suggestions on affiliate banners that I can show to people that use ad blockers.

I'm currently using a Coupons.com API and it works well, but by itself it's a little stagnant. I'd like to be able to alternate with other programs. I tried Linkshare, but it gets blocked so it doesn't help any.

can you make your own?

the banners could be linked images, or some text links

Technically, yes, unless their Javascript keeps up with the number of impressions and clicks. A long time ago I did something like that, but since no impressions were registered they considered my traffic to be fake and didn't pay.

I was originally looking at a "smart" widget on Linkshare that would update itself regularly with daily specials. I want something like that... constantly updating without me having to manually do it.

An affiliate with an API would be great. I'm positive that someone recommended one earlier (it started with an R), but I've gone through all of my threads for the year and can't find it...

I don't know what banners get blocked by default ( I don't depend much on banners) but there are some decent networks to look at that have been reliable for at least a decade: AvantLink - they do have a decent api and can track impressions. They have lots of Deal-of-the-Day banner scripts. They deal mostly with outdoors, sports, recreation brands but have a mix of everything.

ShareASale tracks clicks only, has some of everything. They don't track impressions unless you're qualified for some PPV partners; they do offer some auto updated banners.
