AdSonar refusal

No idea why

Our site just got its first ever refusal from an ad network and I have no idea why.

We are a well read and respected news publication and have never been turned down before. They did ask about our US traffic which at the moment is about 55%

The only thing I can think of is that we're already running Adsense and and Adsonar didnt want to come second to Adsense.

Anyone else had unexplained rejections from them?

how about low ad inventory on your site's particular subject matter. this is always a big problem for smaller ad networks.

I emailed them and asked why, was surprised that they did actually reply stating that our US traffic wasnt high enough, they only have US based advertisers at the moment.

Answer is simple. They want 101% US traffic.
