How To Get More Affiliate Merchants?

Hi,
I am planning to build a site that people can buy stuff by going through my site to the actual merchants. It's kinda of like Fatwallet's cachback. My question is where do they find all these merchants to be their affiliates?

I don't think fatwallet joins a affiliate program because they won't be earning much if these is another middle man between fatwallet and the actual merchants in additional to the cashback to the customers.
