Hello,
I am the webmaster of a network of sites (3 main sites and one large forum), but I feel I have never been able to pool all the revenue potential out of my site.

The forums have around 20,000 registered members, and we get around 200,000 hits a day on the forums. It is a gaming site, so the targeted audience is younger (teens and college-aged people are most common).

Do you have any suggestions? I have about a .2% clickthrough rate for google adsense and am bringing in an average of 87 cents per day. Actually, I was making around $2-3 with adsense at first, even some days with $7-$8, but voer the past month and a half revenue has been so low that it has brought down the daily average dramatically.

I currently run a popup company and get around $100 a month. Is there ANY way I can incrase revenue?

Thanks for the help!

This doesn't quite make sense to me, 200,000 hits per day at a .2% clck through would be 400 clicks per day (right?).

if your only making 87 cents per day on adsense then that implies about a 1/5 of a penny per click. Are you getting nothing but public service ads?

No, the google ads are only on the forum main page. Sorry for the confusion - I am running other CPM ads on the other parts of the site. It turned out that my CTR seemed to level off around 10-20 clicks a day, whether the banners were viewed 1000 times a day or 50,000 =/

You should experiment with different locations for your ads in the forum. I do run a forum and have the Adsense ads on my topic view pages and category view pages.
