What are your thoughts on Linkshare; the seem to have a side selection. Anyone here using them?

They seem to pay slower than CJ (just got my March earnings check from them), but I haven't had problems with them.

Right now, they are on my SUCK list. You get paid when the merchant pays, which can sometimes be 3-4 months. They are overhauling their systems right now and have just absolutely screwed that up. Payments not being sent, little to no contact or updates to their affiliates and right now it is a guessing game as to when and by who for payments.

They may get better when all the "upgrades" stop glitching out, but right now it is just chaos.

I've been with Linkshare for several years now. While there are some inconsistent moments (60+ days on payment) and a recent "downgrade" of their reporting tool, they have been a reliable company for the entire time. If you find a product line that works on your site, you shouldn't hesitate to use Linkshare.

The recent upgrade to bring Consolidated payments into play has been a fair mess in terms of prelaunch QC.

However once done it should lead to bi monthly checks and then eventually direct deposit.

From my perspective I suggest always looking at the products you want to sell rather than the networks themselves. All the big networks have their supporters and detractors.

Cheers

Chris

If you are just starting out now, CJ is the way to go unless there is some specific merchant you want to promote on LinkShare.

No doubt LinkShare will get things straighted out down the road but lately things have been a mess.

Linkshare wins the award for the Worst Possible Transition.

Their reps seem pissed when you ask about when you will get paid. LOL.

I have had nothing but bad luck with Linkshare. I'm about ready to dump them all together. Fortunately, it shouldn't hurt my bottom line too much ;)

Thanks Folks!
You made me decision much easier; I just hope you all don't happen to work for cj.com!
