1 week away from starting my own

affiliate program

I am about one week away from starting my own affiliate program. I am very excited about it. I do not want to get my expectations too high. How can I get publishers to come to me. Do I have to sit and submit my program to 10,000 affiliate directories? I have had a link to a "trial verison" on the site for 3 months and have has 3 inquires.
The more affilates, the more money for everyone. How do I find people?

Do a search for your product/products. Find affiliates that are promoting these type of products and contact them.

That is how I find new merchants. I don't look in affiliate directories.

What a great position to be in. If your product sells you will have no problem finding affiliates.
