On CBS Marketwatch today the quoted a recent survey that about 30% of eCommerce sites are now employing 'dirty tricks' that were first employed by p*rn sites.

These tracks included disabling the back button, pop up and pop under ads and setting the home page in the browser.

I've seen these and others on more and more sites. Is anyone here employing these tricks and what kind of feedback have they producted?

Pop unders everywhere you go now.

I haven't seen too much back button disabling except on sites that use a "put me back in my frame" redirect.

Couldn't produce any figures either. I just know the ole gut feeling is although we hate them...they work. (pop unders)
