Looking over this forum specifically (and webmasterworld in general), a lot of the discussion is on monetizing your site. The question is - what about the other side?

Recently we launched a CPS program for a software product (targetted at webmasters). Feedback on the landing page, commission, etc, has all be positive.

So the question is - how do I find the affiliates that I want? Ive done the basics (plug to related associates, affiliate directories), and so I want to know what people here did when recruiting their great affiliates.

Pay a good 2nd tier commission and someone will do the work for you.

Have you contacted the sites that rank high for your keywords/products? This is a good starting point.

We do have a 2nd-tier. All signs point to our program being very attractive to our market. The problem is still - how do you get others to notice?

In regards to other top ranking sites - they all are sellers. No information/affiliates sites whatsoever to be found :)

I would email the sites directly. Some of the sites that have emailed directly have performed really well on our site. I always read and will consider it when someone emails me. Worth a shot anyway.
