So I rarely visit my own sites from my mobile phone (iphone). But I was on there the other day and noticed that on pages where I was running a 728x90 Tribal Fusion ad that a "popup" ad was appearing at the bottom of my browser screen with an X to close the ad. I found another site running TF and saw the same thing.
It only showed up on pages with a TF ad. So I took the ad code off and that ad went away. I gotta say I've been with Tribal Fusion for 8 years now and this is the first time I've seen something sneaky like this.
I wasn't aware of those mobile popup ads. I didn't agree to them. I don't see any mention of these ads in the reports. Needless to say their ad code is now off my site, probably for good. They were one of my lower earning ads so I'm thinking I'll just leave the ads off.
Have you guys noticed the same thing? Did I miss an announcement?
