Experiences with ClixGalore?

Has anyone had problems getting paid from this network?

Signed up to their network. Placed some ads on my sites. Earned $49 ... then the "merchant" I was advertising apparently ran out of money?

You'll never guess what the payment threshold is for getting paid?

... $50. So I advertised another company who pay in AUD and earned $85AUD. Then apparently, THEY ran out of money in their account balance too.

But (and here's where it gets tricky) ClixGalore won't combine currencies for calculating payout, and the minimum payout for AUD is $100. So now I have $49USD and $85AUD which I apparently cannot have.

I'd sign up to another merchant, but at this point, I'm thinking - what's the point.

Has anyone successfully gotten paid for affiliate sales from this network?

I have no idea, but I'd be interested to see what happens if you sign up to another USD merchant. Get that $1, then there's no reason why you shouldn't get paid.

But maybe someone else with experience with this network could say for certain whether it's dodgy.

I think I tried them years ago for a couple oddball affiliate programs made a few sales, never got paid and gave up.

ShareASale shows you which merchants are on Auto-Deposit, shows when they go offline due to low funds, shows you their track record of doing so. Most networks won't give you this information that you need to avoid deadbeat merchants.

I have tried them both as seller and advertiser. Neither works well. As an advertiser I had to pay a deposit. Next month I was debited for the same deposit. It took me ages to get that re-imbursed and their support has forever been non-responsive. Then I was billed for sales that were fraudulent. There was no way to approve sales and someone had managed to rig click-throughs that were phoney.

Lots of members manage to use the system to send news out to affiliates but I have yet to find a way to do that. Of course their support failed to respond to that enquiry also.

As an advertiser I do not know if any sales were made from the banners that our sites displayed. Most of the products that they list I would not want advertised on our sites.
