How much to charge, for these stats?

An advertiser has contacted me and is proposing to place a 120x60 image ad, just below my left column menu. My last month stats were 13000 unique visitors, 21500 visits, 48000 pages served.

How much would you charge for this kind of ad placement?

For most of my ad positions, which are pretty small, I charge 3-5 CPM, $3-$5.00 for every 1000 ad views(not unique visitors). At $5.00 CPM, you'd charge $240.00. At $3.00 CPM, you'd charge $144.00.

It really depends on your site though, how far down the page it is, etc., on how much to charge.

Check out where else that advertisor is running his Ads, and see what others are charging. Do you have any info on what the customary rates are in your industry? Often the market dictates the rates that you may be able to charge.
