What is this?

I noticed a bump of about $300 to my Tradedoubler balance. I looked at a breakdown and it said "Compensation amount"

What is that?

Hopefully, it is legit!

It will be from a merchant for some kind of downtime or error.

I would think asking Tradedoubler wouldn't be a bad idea

I asked them...Just waiting to hear what's up...But the compensation is pretty large compared to what I actually made with the merchant.

I've seen "compensation amount" used for the following reasons:

1) You're moved to a higher commission level mid-month and the company compensates you for the first part of the month.

2) Company uses a special commission level for a short time to try and push a product. The extra commission for this period is often added manually.

Saying that, I only question TD when they take money off my account!
