How to get the most out of 1m uniques p/d

Hi,
I have a client, who is huge. They get 1m uniques (genuine) per day.

They also have an uber amount of people profiles ranging into the 10s of millions.

I've got a great relationship with them and many other big companies.

I'm looking at ways to give them a couple of friendly pointers on how they can maximise on any affiliate partnerships.

What are the types of things that you'd do to get them more bang for their buck? I'm pretty sure they have money for seo / pr / social etc so it'd be great to hear some ideas.

We need to be able to thing of the opportunity cost for every outcome. 'Ad sense' is not good enough as they can get much higher average CPC / CPA from affiliates.

Can you tell us what type of traffic they generate? By industry / topic?

Our affiliates tend to earn €1.00 per unique visitor... so there is money in them there hills!

They have some active affil campaigns, but it's all about the opportunity cost for each deal and I'm hoping to get the most out of all of it.
