Good resources for starting affiliate marketing

Been doing SEO since '99. Interested in trying affiliate marketing while I am gainfully employed to see what my potential is with it.

Can you all leave me a roadmap to get started? Like good forums, readings, etc?

Not looking to pay for knowledge, just get started.

The Warrior Forum is a good place to start, it's a community of internet marketers... If you do decide that you want to step it up to the next level the Wealthy Affiliate is a good place to be, I've been a paid member there for almost 3 years and still find value from it.
