There is a move in our legislature to repeal the "Amazon Law" of several months ago. Its just making the news now, more later...

Interesting. I just read an article indicating Amazon has decided to go along with pending federal legislation and start collecting sales tax nationwide.
I came here to see if there was any news of Amazon accepting back all the affiliates that have been banned because of the state in which they live.

Now I'm reading that Amazon has a deal with California that gives Amazon a one-year reprieve from collecting sales tax in return for Amazon's support of a nationwide tax on online sales.
Anyone hearing anything else? I wonder if Amazon will re-instate all us affiliates from the now-banned states?
