How do I start an Affiliate program for my book/DVD?

Hey All,

I've been selling a book/DVD combo on ebay and Amazon and have had huge success with it. I want to be able to approach websites and pay them on a per sale basis for promoting my book/dvd. How can I generate my own tracking system without having to use CJ or any other large affiliate companies. I want to controll everything.

Is this hard to do? Can anyone help me on this?

The easiest way is to buy a script to do it. The other would be write your own, or have it written. I am one who believes in not reinventing the wheel. Search the net for "affiliate script" or "affiliate program script" or the like. You might even throw the word 'free' in there and see what comes up.

Scripts are like PC applications, there are many of them already written to do exactly the things most web masters want to do.
