i'm new to using click-junction, and see some statistics for 3-month epc; my understanding is that this is the approximate payout per 100 clicks on this ad? is this right? seems extremely high in some cases. have people here found these numbers to be fairly on target?

Yes, that is right.

My experience is that often the EPC isn't close to what CJ says it should be. Maybe the EPC is high because the links are used in PPCs such as Google's Adwords. Since it benefits merchants to have high EPCs, they probably have several methods to get them reported higher than what they would actually be for you and me.

I definitely haven't come close to the numbers they show, except for a select few ads placed on HIGHLY targetted pages.

The only EPC i look at is mine with the merchant.

My 3 month EPC has been as high as £4k before now, but these figures are skewed as my leads are entered manually through a link, so every click is a sale.

I'm pretty certain that the merchant's stats would be similarly skewed, and I don't think that this is an isolated case.

Therefore as the poster above says, pay attention to just one thing - does it make YOU money?
