It was written that distributing flyers in local high school is a good way for attracting site visitors.

Is there any agency specializing in flyer distribution in high school?
Or can someone help me with this?

I tried flyers for college related forum sites. It is not worth the money. you'd better focus on Local PPC Search or SEO for the targetted local search. In fact you should be promoting website...online.

A web-based members-only 'club' that send out invitations to cool events in Glasgow, Scotland started off by handing out masses of flyers to everyone, targeting universities and specifically computer labs and internet cafes, word of mouth took on from that and it became a real success story - mailing list of around 10,000 (Glasgow only). Proves that it works, if you've got the right proposition going!

Flyers are great. They're cheap and put in the right places, work. Of course not everyone has sites worth doing a little offline advertising for.

I made 5000 postcards both sides, full color, for one of my sites. It helped get the word out and traffic increased, since it was a local site.

If your site is of value to the people you are handing the flyers to, if it is a service that they need and is not available at this point, and if you clearly show those benefits, then it should increase your traffic significantly.
