Confused.

Hello all,

i want to run an internet advertising agency and display advertisement of my clients on different websites, blogs, forums etc and i want to send reports to them of how are the ads working on each of the website

Questions:

1: Is there a solution free/paid in which i can run different campaigns of my clients and prepare a comprehensive reporting of the all the adverts.

2: Technically speaking what is my title i.e. Publisher, Advertiser or Agency only ?

I am confused on where to start if i need to run a online campaign (Ads placement on websites, google adsense, facebook advertising) for let say a Furniture Company and then send that company different reports on the ads performance

There are a few advertising networks, a large one is Google's DoubleClick. Generally, media buyers at advertising agencies (digital agency is the more popular term now) will talk to several ad networks and get their clients' display ads shown on publisher sites. I think you want to play both roles, but then you should also be prepared to work with other ad networks because their publishers might not be available to you. These days a large ad network will work with other ad networks transparently, so that their client (the digital agency) only needs to work with one.

Yes, there is a free offering on SourceForge but I can't remember its name. You will need to look it up.
