need info on setting up affilaite program on my site

I would like to find out how to set up an affiliate program on my site.

Don't know where to begin

Need help

Let's say I sold widgets, I want other people to promote my widgets and in return, I would give them a commission

Is this a good idea? Woutl it work?

I would start by reading any thread in this forum. This forum is, after all, about Affiliate Programs.

The other thing you could try is reading the "library", which is a list of particularly interesting threads, most of which having to do with affiliate programs.

Also, you could do a search on google for "Affiliate Program Script" or something similar.
