Hello,
My name is Sergiu, and in 2 weeks we will release some premium plugins for wordpress. I think the biggest problem right now is finding the best network to work with.
I know that you guys can help me because you have years of experience, and we cannot afford to pay 1000's of dollars just to check every network.
We have also sent some email to some networks, but every signup cost money, and we don't know which one fits for us.
So, please tell us what affiliate network should we use as a merchant?

If you have any ideas of promoting, please write here.

Thanks

Two important factors, where you are and where your customers are.

You want a network that will deliver merchants relevant to your customers (eg not shipping from a different country) and which will pay you in your local currency. I could suggest, for example, using Amazon.co.uk but that would be a total waste of time if your site is targeted at Australia!

You have to access where your customers are. I think you can find out the system users and the related technologists, who are interesting in your products. They are all the target prospects.

I think you can start an easy website by yourself. You introduce the features in simple words, easily let them know why they should use your "plugin".

Notice that they may have several plugins already, but not all of them are useful. So you have to illustrate "what will happen" after they use yours, Using cases and testimonials instead of announcing the lists of feature. Lists will be boring and they know this is all your Advertisement.

I don't konw the budget or scale of your company. but it's not necessary for you to advertise too lot. To grasp your target may be more important.

And in my opinion, the location is a point, even your product are virtual services or softwares on the tnternet, the users' preference and habits are different in countries.

Pick the wrong network and a big slice of every payment gets eaten up by forex charges.
