Google AdSense is by far the best. The ads are targeted to your page content so you get the higher click though rate. They also pay the best. I would like to see them get direct deposit. Check out the AdSense forums on this site for loads of info.

We have been publishing on the Web for over eight years, and in that time have tried various advertising systems. Suffice to say that we do not use Adsense or any other contectual advertising.
