I'm interested in Overture as a possibility to raising some income from my business-sector orientated, well regarded website (7000+ senior decision-making level industry professionals, many of which visit every day).
AdSense is the obvious choice, but I am keen to find out whether Overture can help. Thing is, the Overture website put me off - so much marketing bull and not a lot of easily digestible facts.
What kinds of sites are you guys using with Overture - size-wise, industry-wise, hits wise, you know the sorts of things?

I made the mistake of thinking that you wanted to advertise with OV, which is what my post was about. As far as being a publisher for them, I think that your assumptions about traffic levels are correct.

I think in the UK they are currently looking for around 500K searches a month, although as with a lot of things, if you have a niche they are particularly interested in they may take you with less.
If you're looking for a straight comparison with adsense there isn't one. Despite what they say there content match product is just an xml feed, you then have to sit down with them to come up with a list of keywords that will be relevant to your site. There isn't a 'cut and paste' into your page solution, every different section where you want to pull different ads will need different code.
There payout is pretty good (particulary on the precisoin match side) although unless you have a huge amount of time to play around with (and want a selection of general themed ads, rather than ads targetted to the individual page) you may well find that for content match the increase in cpc is counteracted by a decrease in click through so your overall totals are pretty much the same.
