I am new to CJ and I have a question with regard to CJ tracking system. If a visitor went to advertiser's website through text link on my blog, but he bought another product. Will the sales be referenced to my account?

Another product on another website? No, you won't get anything out of that. I mean, why would you?

If the visitor went to a merchant by clicking your link, and bought something from that merchant, you would get commission on the sale even if your link was promoting the merchant's purple widgets and the visitor bought a blue widget instead.
As long as your tracking cookie is intact, you'll get commission on the purchase no matter what product the visitor buys.

There are occasional merchants that only pay for some of their products, but not all. Check you T&C and it should be clear.
