Just join CJ , it is hard to understand!

hi, everybody. I am new here.I just join CJ yesterday. the pannel is hard to use.By the way I really don't know clearly about the Affiliate.May be my english is bad, (infact ,I am chinese, hope no racial discrimination here! I just learn a USA culture few months (in AUGUST 2004 I begin to sell item in EBAY, it is really work! ) before I work in PRODUCTION company as a digit-artist in MACAU(3D and VFX )
only USD$750/month, I earn with EBAY USD$1100/month

hope I can get some idea about the Affiliate. I have a web hosting, any idea for expand the Affiliate?

I have join the CJ, but CJ doesn't let me join the advertiser! why? any one can help me?

"Advertiser" is for people who want to sell things on another person's site. "Publisher" is for website owners who want to use affiliate links instead selling advertisng to make money, but do not sell things themselves.

but how can I get start from CJ?I loggin CJ, click get links, I try to select the advitiser that I want to join, but no USE!

any tutorial for CJ? The CJ help really hard to know!

As a "Publisher" you can place links/advertisement on your site that leads to the merchant. When the surfer buys something from them, you receive a commission.

As an "Advertiser" you are the merchant and you sell products. Publishers will join with your affilite program so they can place ads on their websites for your products , in exchange for a comission when a sale is made. So the publisher gets money, and you get more sales.

OK. let's talk about the CJ, I need to click the advertiser that I want? and join it?

I can't join the advertiser until now. do you think it is , because I am not a USA resident?
when I sign up the CJ, I haven't fill the TAX blank. then I received a mail about the outside of USA resident, the mail saying about the W8 (I don't really know what is W8 )

BTW, the Chinese market is huge, and you could probably make a lot more over there too! A lot of US companies going into China to work with the Chinese market.

chinese market is huge, but it is hard to earn in it. alot of opponent. when target the chinese market, need to know the chinese people culture first I think.

the W8 BEN is a tax form which you have to sign and fax to CJ.
If you are not in the USA, Canada or the UK you will get "application denied" by a lot of merchants (the most lucrative programs!).
Check select merchants servicing my country (a small link), on the home page after you login.
I also found the CJ control panel to be very confusing, but I got used to it (after 3 months :)).

Please don't get desperate!
I would suggest you to look for some other affiliate networks, like Clickbank, LinkShare... Just make a search with google about affiliate networks.
I live in western Europe and I am having similar problems.
Another tip would be to put AdSense on your web site, you will be able to recieve checks worldwide.
Have you clicked on select merchants "servicing my country"? It is on the bottom on the page after you login in your CJ's account.
You can also join affiliate programs individually (applying to each merchant separately).

now I need to face the problem is--- how can I join the advertiser in CJ, I have already sign up, but still can't aply some affiliate programe!

I see a good chance in one MACAO web site forum! Alot of macao people go there! If I can join some affiliate programe! It must help the merchants get some customer and I can get some commision!
