I finally found the topic I think I can make a web site that would generate some income, and I can manage it.

Ducks in a row -
I have the technology lined up
I have ideas on the the content
I have ideas on promotion of the site

Now for the source of income - all my competitors are charging huge amounts of membership fees. The niche market has large amount of advertisers, has a huge target market and the advertisers seem very hungry.

The question is which affiliate consolidator(s) and advertising system(s) should I get involved with?

Note that this is my first commercial venture on web sites, and as such I do not want to get involved with creating my own systems, affilate and other. Let those who know how to manage that do it.

Here are the ones I am considering:

Amazon
Google Adsense
Comission Junction
LinkShare

I will be able to place adds both on the site and in e-mail.

Are these the top of the line ones? Are there any others out there that are considered "professional"? What I mean by "professional" is not playing on the edge of annoying, or even close to risky practices. I want to make sure that the site creates and maintains a solid, reputable public image.

Nice to see someone actually going through the planing process for a change :)

I would suggest trying them ALL

but in a way you can test / review / improve

Sign up for all of the programs
and start testing
