Tiny check from Overture last fall

Not sure why I received this & Do I consider this income on my taxes?

I received a small check (56 cents) from Overture last fall. I've read other messages where people received similar small amounts from Overture during the fall. The ironic thing is that I haven't operated a website or signed up for an affiliate program in over five years.

Is this a one-time check? And since I haven't run a website in such a long time, would I still need to consider this as income on my taxes since I received the check just this last fall?

I think it would probably be a lot easier all round to just not cash it at all.

I don't think the IRS is going to throw you in jail for $.56. In fact, accountants routinely round down. So you earned $0 from them. And I just spend a lot more $.56 of my time answering this question.

I got one for 8 cents from them, lol. Why they bothered with the stamp, I don't know. The only thing I could think it was from was a review I did on epinions more than a year ago where they promise you a percentage of the earnings or something. And, uh, no I didn't report it on my taxes.
