Why am I getting ads I did not sell?

I am getting pop up ads on my site that I did not sell..I am confused as to why they are showing up..Can someone explain this?

This is the address..At bottom..click on quick tips and hotel deals..At the top of the page you will see a go button for the latest hot deals..when you click it..an affiliate page loads and then the pop up occurs and it only occurs in Internet Explorer. I asked the the main Company who signed me up and they do not use this type of advertising..It was happening yesterday..but not today...it was also not consistent everytime..

Dunno if this is related or not, but...

I know my new cablemodem proider likes to send pop-up ads while I am browsing around the web. I have not found the pattern except one ALWAYS pops up on the browser load. Others are scattered at random page changes.

Time to remove all the stuff they loaded on my computer without being asked :-/
