I am almost done with a completely free dating site I am rebuilding. However I have ran into some problems, I had this site before in 2003 and at that time was able to find fairly cheap advertisement 200 bucks a week and would be able to get about 1000 users signing up weekly. However all the advertisements I can find these days are PPC and CPM and of course they are all very pricy especially Google Adwords...I have also tried Microsoft Adcenter, Yahoo Marketing Solutions, and Facebook. The actual best conversion to amount im paying for is so far Yahoo. I was wondering if any of you all have had better experience or know of another advertising site that would benefit this type of site better. Since I am not trying to "sell" a product I am merely looking for user signup and build up my traffic. I know link exchange with great sites would help my PR.. I have been trying with no luck and as I am sure you can guess the keywords im going after are in high demand. BTW the sites DateandRate.com

you need to be on the "dodgy" areaz ( areaz is not a typo ;) of the net ..to get sign ups ..look at "adbrite" ..they are all over "thoze" areaz with dating site ads already ..plus ..before you do ..translate your site and your banners :)
