Hi,

So I have been building a site/blog for the last year that just so happens to be in a pretty lucrative niche. I am doing around 800 uniques daily now and was approached by an advertiser (4 months) ago to have their banner on my "header ad spot". Very top of my site next to the logo. I sold this to them (very popular company in my niche) at $10 CPM, which is fairly cheap for my niche. To put this in perspective, I do AT LEAST 2 times that eCPM with adsense.

I have been selling this adspot to them every month for the last few months at that rate. This month however, the guy I go through with that particular company has been let go (he was a contracted employee) and the new employee wont respond to my emails. I know I can fetch atleast this 10cpm rate with other companies but don't know how to reach the appropriate people within my niche companies nor am I (or want to be) a sales guy.

I realize with my traffic, I am still a "little guy" so it is going to be hard to get CPM attention from major companies.

Given my traffic, does anyone know a third party network who can help me out, or does anyone have any advice? Thanks any sort of first hand experience would really be appreciated...

If you are in a lucrative niche, you might want to try running some links to an appropriate affiliate program and test this out. It never hurts to test varios forms of revenue generation and see what works best for your site and it's visitors.

eljefe3,

I run affiliate products and they do quite well. I also run adsense and it performs fairly well too. I am looking into CPM sales though to supplement the other forms of revenue. Any good networks that can handle this for a site doing 1k visitors per day?
