new to cpm (nube questions)

Hey, I use adsenses at the moment and as I have an image based website! I get over 1000 impressions and 0-1 clicks a day :(

I want to try a CPM network because a friend told me I could do alot more with it! Someone please answer me a few questions:

1 - most cpm networks allow me to place more than 1 banner? (and I get 2x more or I get the same as if I only had 1?)

2 - I only have about 50% US traffic, should I go for a US traffic network with a better cpm rate (but low fill rate) or a 100% fill rate network?

3 - Most visitors visite 10+ pages from my website! Should I use pop-ups / pop-unders or that will scared them and visite half the pages they usually see?
