Need tips from affiliate marketers

I need to create a second income stream fast for higher education loan repayment. Does affiliate marketing really work? I am looking at $1000 monthly - is that possible? I browsed net for info but suffering information-overload and feeling confused. Is there a thread already / can u pls help with some tips that work? Many thanks.

The best thing to do is to read as many threads as possible from various affiliate forums to get general information. From there you then decide what products you want to promote and how you want to promote them. Good luck on your endeavors.
